judge-determined winners of The 10th Annual Independent Music Awards (The IMAs), the influential awards program for fans and bands.
The winners were determined by a panel of 62 influential music industry pros including Tom Waits and Kathleen Brennan, Seal, Aimee Mann, Ozzy Osbourne, Bettye LaVette, Jim Lauderdale, Arturo Sandoval, Bill Bragin (Lincoln Center), and Anthony DeCurtis (Rolling Stone).
With thirteen years under his belt as trumpet soloist/arranger for Ray Charles, David Hoffman has the experience to release music with the wingspan of an Eagle. As a departure from David's usual role as a straight ahead jazz artist, Hoffman created a beautiful melodic and ambient piece of striking beauty called CALMNESS OF SPIRIT.
